Karate Do-is the art of the empty hand where one utilizes blocks, kicks, strikes and punches to defend oneself; it can be practiced as a method of self-defense, a sport, a method of physical fitness and as an art developing the mind and body.

The Do of Karate-Do is the path a karate practitioner should strive to follow by applying the character building principles set forth by Master Gichin Funakoshi which are: CHARACTER, SINCERITY, EFFORT, ETIQUETTE AND SELF CONTROL.

Caledon Karate has been in operation since 1991 and has served the Town of Caledon by providing superior karate services in a family oriented and recreational environment. There are no contracts, and costs average to $7.50 per class (2 classes a week).

Over 50 Black Belt certifications under the owners, namely Vincenzo Mazzei - 5th Degree Black Belt, have occured in the 4000 square feet training area, with ample free parking and change rooms for your convenience.

Special seminars are taught by Sensei Minoru Saeki, 7th Dan, Chief Instructor of the Canadian Japan Karate Federation(CJKF), who has direct liason with the Instructors of the Japan Karate Association (JKA).
